12:30 PM – Arrive at Elsa’s Kopje Lodge
Check into the award-winning Elsa’s Kopje, built into Mughwango Hill with sweeping views over the park. Named after Elsa the lioness from Born Free, this luxurious lodge offers elegance, privacy, and an unmatched connection to nature.
01:00 PM – Gourmet Lunch at the Lodge
Enjoy a fresh, chef-prepared lunch overlooking the vast Meru plains. Relax and settle in.
03:30 PM – Afternoon Game Drive
Set out for your first game drive in Meru. The park is rich in wildlife, including:
Big Cats: lions, leopards, cheetahs
Rhino Sanctuary: black and white rhinos
Elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and more
Rare species: Grevy’s zebra, lesser kudu, and gerenuk
06:30 PM – Sundowners in the Bush
Pause for a magical bush sundowner – drinks and snacks served as the sun dips behind the horizon.
07:30 PM – Dinner at the Lodge
Return to Elsa’s for a candlelit dinner under the stars. Reflect on the day's sightings while enjoying a delicious three-course meal paired with fine wines.
Overnight at Elsa’s Kopje Lodge
Enjoy a restful night in your luxury cottage suite, serenaded by the sounds of the African wild.
DAY 2 – MORNING GAME DRIVE & RETURN TO NAIROBI
06:30 AM – Early Morning Game Drive
Start your day with the golden glow of sunrise as you head out for another thrilling drive. Early morning is perfect for spotting predators on the move and birds in full song.
08:30 AM – Breakfast at the Lodge
Return to a hearty bush breakfast with stunning panoramic views.
10:30 AM – Optional Nature Walk or Relaxation
Enjoy a guided nature walk (optional) or relax by the infinity pool before check-out.
12:00 PM – Begin Return Journey to Nairobi
Depart Meru with unforgettable memories. Stop for lunch on the way (optional, depending on timing).
